BAKSYN x The Strike DIO "DATE GOLD"
Legendary roots. Handmade in Japan. Next-level vibration.
Developed in collaboratin between BAKSYN and The Strike Skate & Tackle Shop.
Based on the iconic Diavolo by BAKSYN Lure Design, the DIO (short for Diavolo Oklahoma) introduces an Oklahoma blade setup that completely reimagines the bait's underwater signature.
Where the original Diavolo offers the steady, heavy pulling resistance similar to a traditional crankbait, the DIO generates an intense, tight vibration you can feel directly through your rod tip - much like a high-action lipless crankbait.
Key Features & Performance
- Finesse Meets Force: Despite its aggressive vibration, the DIO maintains a remarkably lively, natural swimming action that doesn't overpower the fish.
- Ultimate Search Bait: Engineered to cover water quickly and trigger instinctive, aggressive reaction strikes when the pressure is on.
- Oklahoma Blade Design: Delivers a distinct thud and flash profile optimized for drawing fish out of cover or murky conditions.
- Immediate Action on the Fall: Engineered with exceptional balance so the blades begin spinning and working the moment it hits the water during the sinking phase, triggering reaction strikes even on the drop.
- Handcrafted Precision: Crafted with Japanese artistry and attention to detail for maximum durability and flawless running balance right out of the package.
- Premium Japanese Components: Engineered with the highest-end components available, ensuring maximum hardware durability, razor-sharp hookups, and smooth, reliable blade rotation on every cast.
Color Story: DATE GOLD
Inspired by the armour of the legendary feudal warlord Date Masamune, this colorway was crafted to elevate the classic black & gold combo.
While black & gold is a proven, high-producing producer across all waters, standard renditions can often look cheap or overly flashy. DATE GOLD avoids the cliché with a refined, deep metallic palette that balances subtle elegance with raw fish-catching power.
